NEET 2022 Preparation Tips:

  • Create a study plan and stick to it: Students aspiring to crack NEET 2022 exam need to create a robust study plan and follow it diligently. With just 3 months remaining, you need to direct your complete attention and focus on your studies. Here are a few pointers you need to consider while preparing your NEET 2022 strategy:
  • Identify the topics carrying high weightage from all three subjects and give preference to them. Prepare them first, then move on to the other topics.
  • Focus more on your difficult areas. Learn, revise and practice them again and again till you feel confident about them.
  • Study all three subjects/ different topics in a day to avoid boredom.
  • Find your peak productivity time, some students prefer to study early in the morning while others prefer to study late at night. Identify your preference and customize your study plan accordingly.
  • Take regular and refreshing breaks between your study sessions to increase productivity.
  • Follow a healthy routine, eat nutritious food, drink plenty of water, take enough sleep, and practice yoga or meditation in the morning to keep your mind and body healthy for the exam.
  • Revise your SMART notes: In the beginning, you must have prepared SMART notes like flashcards, flowcharts, mind maps, diagrams, short summaries, etc. it’s time to revise them thoroughly. You can also use visual aid or video lectures for topics you are experiencing difficulty in understanding. Revising your notes will save your time and help you in memorizing concepts better for quicker recall during the examination.
  • Follow NCERT: NTA loves NCERT, therefore as a medical aspirant, you should too. Most of the questions asked in the NEET examination are directly or indirectly related to NCERT solutions, therefore it is critical to prepare the NCERT curriculum thoroughly. Furthermore, students must consult a variety of supporting books and study materials to expand their knowledge and improve their problem-solving abilities. They should not, however, neglect the NCERT.
  • Solve previous year’s question papers: Many times, it has been observed that the previous year’s questions are repeated in the NEET examination, therefore aspirants should solve the previous year’s question papers. It also helps students comprehend the NEET exam pattern, question structure, and competitiveness of the exam. To boost your preparation, try to answer all of the questions within the prescribed NEET time limit.
  • Take regular mock tests: After finishing your syllabus, students need to take as many mock tests as possible to brush up their exam preparation. By taking mock tests, you can test your knowledge and identify the gaps in your preparation to rectify. Mock tests allow students to get acquainted with the question format and exam setting. Students must understand the question pattern, language, and how they must respond. In addition, with timed mock tests, students can improve their time management abilities by knowing how much time they have to commit to a single question. Taking regular mock tests will improve your problem-solving skills and enhance your confidence for the exam.

Subject-wise study tips:

For Physics NEET 2022: For NEET aspirants, Physics is the most difficult subject because questions of this section are based on the concept and formula application. Hence, candidates spend a significant amount of time answering physics questions. Aspirants must memorize all of their concepts, applications, and formulae. The only way to get a good grade is to practice as many questions as possible.

At the same time, you can categorize the subjects and topics based on their level of complexity. It will assist you in determining which topic requires more time and attention. Also, figure out your strong and weak areas as well, and improve on them accordingly.

For Chemistry NEET 2022: Chemistry includes three sections:

  • Physical Chemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Organic Chemistry

Physical chemistry questions tend to be more formula-based, so you should be familiar with all of the formulae applications and question forms.

Inorganic chemistry is considered as the most scoring section.

If a candidate thoroughly knows each concept, they will almost certainly receive full marks. Learn the periodic table and review it every day until you can’t forget it.

Organic chemistry is solely based on students’ learning and understanding. This part usually has direct questions, so revise and re-revise all the chemical reactions and chemical names until you’ve learned them all by heart.

For Biology NEET 2022: Biology is all about theory and does not necessitate critical and analytical thinking skills. Facts, concepts, definitions, diagrams, scientific names, etc. all must be memorized thoroughly. You’re halfway there if you understand all of the diagrams and can label them appropriately. Keep in mind that many of the questions in the NEET exam are based on NCERT diagrams, so you must memorize all of these diagrams.

Use these study tips and sample study plan to ace your NEET 2022 preparation. However, we advise you to create and customize your own study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses. Every student learns in a unique way, so you’ll need to tailor your study plan to fit your learning style.
